If you ever wished you could've gone to camp with a bunch of other trailrunners now is your chance!
Camp Moran: Moran State Park's Environmental Learning Ceneter will be our home for the weekend. Located right in the middle of the course it makes for an ideal location for our run headquarters and in general just a nice place to hang out. The camp has various cabins that sleep 8, 12 or 14 people each--they each have heat and electricty and either have bathrooms(with showers) in them or very close by.
Provided by the camp: kitchen utensils and dishes; walk-in refrigerator and a freezer; beds or cots; tables and chairs; cleaning supplies; paper towels and toilet paper. There are also canoes that we can use on the lake.
Things to Bring: Sheets, blankets or sleeping bags, pillows, towels, toiletries, headlamp or flashight, earplugs, food to cook in the kitchen, drinks, firewood for the wood stove in the main lodge. And your spirit of sharing and adventure and your willingness to help clean up afterwards!
Other Options: If you had a traumatic experience at summer camp as a kid and don't want to have another below are some other great options...
